Known for her otherworldly dynamic voice on film, television and video game soundtracks, along with videos viewed by millions, Inana Bold (formerly known as Úyanga Bold) is an internationally acclaimed soundtrack vocalist, vocal arranger and songwriter. Described as: “her voice harkens back to ancient civilizations" (Forbes Magazine Romania), “a haunted presence, an angelic glow or even the sense of deja vu - as if dreaming of an ancient civilization long ago.” (Music Connection Magazine), "masterful range and consistency of singer Úyanga Bold... remarkable chops" (Electronic Musician Magazine), Bold sings to uplift and unite humanity, drawing from global classical vocal studies and a life dedicated to exploring this instrument. Inana counts herself fortunate to have worked as a vocal soloist with some of Hollywood’s top composers: Harry Gregson-Williams on Disney’s Mulan (2020), Oscar nominated composer Marco Beltrami and Anna Drubich (Guillermo del Toro’s “Scary Stories to tell in the Dark”), Captain Marvel composer Pinar Toprak, Sandro Morales Santoro on Marvel’s Spider-Man: Maximum Venom, Emmy nominee David Buckley, ASCAP winner Jack Wall (Call of Duty), and Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory.
During her studies at Berklee College of Music, Bold was propelled into the cinematic music world singing as a soloist with a full orchestra opening for Grammy award winning composer Alan Silvestri (Avengers: Endgame) with the Rhythm of the Universe. From there, she was invited as a soloist to perform for the Masterpiece Experience with the full Bucharest Symphony Orchestra a special televised arrangement of Hans Zimmer's "Batman: The Dark Knight" Suite with vocals, alongside Tina Guo, which went to garner over fifteen millions views. This made her a household name early in her career.
Since then, Inana performed worldwide as a concert soloist, including eSports World Championship Finals of League of Legends in Beijing with a full orchestra and choir, and Fimucite Tenerife International Film Music Festival in Spain with the Tenerife choir and Symphony Orchestra.
She lent her voice to award-winning video game franchises, including League of Legends, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, Overwatch cinematic, Erica, Amazon’s Crucible, Honor of Kings, Arena of Valor and more.
Bold sang the title main theme of the upcoming TV series “Motherland: Fort Salem” composed by Brandon Roberts, teaming up with him alongside Disney Freeform’s music and sound department to create the sonic universe of the show, providing unique main vocals, vocal “spells” effects, and vocal compositions. Other major US film and TV singing credits include Disney’s Mulan (2020), “Waiting for Barbarians” (2019) starring Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson, and Comedy Central’s “Drunk History” TV series from executive producer Will Ferrell.
Her studio work includes lead vocals commissions for the Boston Ballet, Google Japan, Disney Japan, and Disney USA, singing and co-producing a song in Huttese and English for a Star Wars live production. Inana also contributed main vocals and lyrics to the Japanese popular animated feature film “Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul” soloist vocals for the Chinese-Tibetan epic feature film “The Chainbreakers”, and soloist vocals and additional music, including the main title theme, in the multi award-winning documentary feature Madagasikara (2018).
For video game soundtracks, her solo voice is heard in the world’s top and award winning video games including Blizzard Entertainment's Overwatch, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, Riot Games' League of Legends, Arknights, Hero Wars 2, ERICA, Darq, The Pathless; Chinese massively played games from Tencent, including Honor of Kings, Revelation Online, Grains, and Moonlight Blade. Her voice is featured in composer Thomas Parisch’s music for the latter, for which he received a Hollywood Music in Media award in the category of "Original Song - Video Game".
East West / Quantum Leap, the #1 producer of software instruments in the world created the "Voices of the Empire" blockbuster virtual instrument from Bold’s distinctive ethnic vocals, produced by Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix. She is also featured as a vocal soloist for the popular epic neoclassical production Two Steps From Hell.
Collectively, Inana’s voice work is heard on videos viewed by dozens of millions. She sings and writes for major trailer music companies, including Audiomachine and Colossal Trailers. Her original composition is featured in the promotional campaign for Amazon's TV Series “The Widow” starring Kate Beckinsale.
During her Berklee days, Bold performed with African icon and Grammy Award winner Angelique Kidjo and the Women of the World, as well as Grammy and American Music Award nominated artist Blu Cantrell, at Harvard honoring Bill and Chelsea Clinton, and various press conferences and local radios shows. Since then, she has given interviews and performed on television and radio worldwide.
Living and breathing music, Inana also plays for healing experiences promoting mindfulness and transformation. She grew up playing classical piano, and later developed a fascination with exotic instruments, including dilruba, frame drum, and baglama saz to name a few. She also performs with the Hollywood String Quartet, with composers writing special pieces for them. When possible, she donates her time and resources to different causes and charities. Her goal is to make this world a better place.
